The Houghton Regis Baptist Church Fete, held in Mrs Dickens' meadow in July 1956.
Included in the picture are the flower girls, ice cream sellers and stallholders.
On the extreme right is Mrs Fensome, a popular teacher from Top School.
In the background is the cement works.
