1948 Lieutenant Colonel Dealtry Charles Part Unveiling the Police Memorial

Lieutenant Colonel Sir Dealtry Part, OBE unveiling the police memorial.

He purchased Houghton Hall, Houghton Regis in 1913 following the death of Henry Chernocke Gibbs Brandreth. He was Joint Master of the Hertfordshire Hounds. He also owned Morvich in Sutherland.

In 1938 his horse, Morse Code, ridden by D Morgan, won the Cheltenham Gold Cup. He was knighted in 1957.
