1910s Post Card View All Saints Church

All Saints Church is the oldest standing building in Houghton Regis. The main part was built in the 13th century. There was a church on this site in Saxon times and it is mentioned in the Domesday Book. Domesday Book is a manuscript record of the "Great Survey" of much of England and parts of Wales completed in 1086 by order of King William the Conqueror.

This post card view dates from before WW1. Postage rates are given as "Inland 1/2d, Foreign 1d".
