1910s (?) The Chequers Public House

The Chequers, opposite the Village Pond in East End. The sign on the right advertises "good accommodation for cyclists. Teas provided" and "Good stabling to let", and the posters on the left advertise a porcelain and china sale, Horleys Cake and Lactifer. Picture undated.
