2024 19th September David Hill and Town Mayor Unveiling of the Brandreth Information Board

David Hill, Chair Houghton Regis Heritage Society, inviting the Houghton Regis Town Mayor, Cllr Elaine Cooper, to unveil the Brandreth Information Board in Houghton Hall Park.

David spoke of the history of the Brandreths in Houghton Regis and of the work that went in to compiling the Board by Roger Turner. He spoke of the research done by Alan Grubb, with Dorothy Jones (who lives in Canada) in preparing the Family Tree of the Brandreths. A memorial plaque to Alan, who died in 2023, has been added to the Board.
