A view of Houghton Regis High Street taken in the 1980s from All Saints Church Tower.

To the left of the picture is Bedford Square Shopping Centre. Across the road is the Co-Op Supermarket (formerly a Safeway Supermarket) which was burned down. A social club and function room were on the first floor above the Co-Op. This building has now been replaced by the All Saints View care home.
