1918 circa The High Street Houghton Regis Looking West

A view of the High Street looking west taken about 1918. The Bricklayer's Arms sign is in the foreground (now demolished). In the background is All Saints Church with Workhouse Row (the Alms Houses) in front. The old fire station is in the middle right.

In the distance is the old King's Arms Pub on the corner of Bedford Road.
