These houses in Churchfield Road, Houghton Regis, were part of the early development of the Tithe Farm Estate in 1960.
The original field (shown on the Duke of Bedford's Estate map of 1766) was known as Churchfield Furlong, other filed were named Church Hill and Church Hill Closes, as the land originally belonged to the Church. August 2011.
