Keith Wallis received the Honorary Freeman award for his lifelong dedication and contributions to the Houghton Regis community.
A native resident and member of the Houghton Regis Baptist Church, Keith's education at Thomas Whitehead School and Kingsbury School in Dunstable laid the foundation for his multifaceted talents as a poet, writer, photographer, and musician. Keith has been a cornerstone of the town, with his involvement spanning various aspects of community life. His musical talents, especially with Last of the Ukuleles, brought joy and engagement to the community, particularly during the challenging days of the COVID lockdowns.
Keith's enduring commitment and artistic contributions have made him a cherished figure in Houghton Regis, meriting the Honorary Freemanship of the Town.
