All Saints church is in the centre with the High Street running left to right. A car park in front of the church is on the site of the demolished Workhouse Row (Alms Houses) and the old Lockup.
The houses on King Street are being demolished to make way for Air Call and now Bierum House a dental practice. On the opposite side of King Street demolition is taking place to build the Rhone Poulenc Building, now Morrisons Supermarket. The Kings Arms pub is opposite the church.
The Blue Circle Lime works is in the background and behind that is the lake and quarry.
The Baptist Church can be seen on the High Street in the middle ground in front of the Lime Works.
The Bedford Square shopping centre in in the foreground, built on the site of the Tithe Farm and Tithe Barn.
The newly built Thomas Whitehead School to the bottom right.
