This is the reverse of the hand tinted postcard, sender tells us he was inspected by Lord Kitchener. Postcard was from Bert and reads:

Just a few lines hopeing to find you quite well. I thought I would let you know we are moving away from here on Saturday so will write to you directly we get there and let you know my address. We where inspected by Lord Kitchener yesterday. With love Bert.
