Workhouse Row (The Alms Houses) outside All Saints Church, Houghton Regis. The Workhouse was demolished and is now a car park. The lock-up is seen on the end of the Row.
The door to the former lock-up can now be found on display at Stockwood Discovery Museum, Luton.
The fire station, ignominiously converted into a bus stop, is on the right of the photograph.
