The building has its original timbers inside and outside. The present building incorporates parts of a much older one.
It was run as a barber's shop by Mr Sinfield in the 1950s and is still a ladies hairdresser and gentlemen's barber's shop - Kirsty's - run by Mr and Mrs Reid.
