All Saints Church, Houghton Regis Antique Hand Bells.
Handbells - All Saints Bellringers Association. Most of the bells are the product of Aldbourne in Wiltshire (whose bells are marked with "RW" or Rwells" inside the bell castings) and as such will have been made during the latter half of the 18th century or early 19th century. The Wells company together with their pattern equipment for handbells and small bells was acquired by Whitechapel Bell Foundry Ltd following the Wells company's closure in the 1820's. In 2013 on the recommendation of Whitechapel Bell Foundry the decision was taken to replace these bells with a new set at a cost of £3,683.00 plus Vat.
